Fearless by Max Lucado

From the moment I opened the book Fearless, I was captivated.Within just a few minutes of reading it, I knew it was a book that I just needed to read and read I did. After just the first three chapters I was already recommending it to a couple friends.

As someone that has been laid off from a job this year, there’s lots of fear of what’s to come. Will I get another job? Will I go back to school? Will I have enough unemployment to get me through? Is my husband going to be able to make enough money to support us through this time? In Fearless, Max Lucado covers these fears plus lots more. He backs everything that he says with Biblical truth and personal stories that keep you reading and digging for more.

I tell you not to worry about everyday life – whether you have enough. (Matt. 6:25 NLT)

Take courage. I am here! (Matt. 14:27 NLT)

This book was so easy to read. The chapters go so quickly and before you know it, the book is finished and you want to read it all over again.

I’m reminded to not fear the every day things. Bring all of your fears and concerns to The One who cares and he’ll be there to take care of you, no matter the situation.
