Huh! Who Knew?

Maybe I’ve been living someone else’s life. Maybe someone has come and taken over my life. Have we switched places? I would sure like to know because apparently, I’m a swim coach and never knew it.

I don’t make a habit of going in pools and I could really care less about swimming, especially if the body of water has chlorine in it. I know how to swim, but I don’t like to.

I’ve been getting weird emails ocassionally and I received this one yesterday.

And I’m not changing the names because, really, I’m a frickin stranger who knows these people’s names now so what’s it matter if all the rest of the internet knows too?

those of you receiving this email have responded already that you would like to swim this summer; you should have received the list info copied below….

In addition, we will be may swim at the Nat on beginning May 18th, we will only have 2 lanes but anyone who would like to start early is welcome. We will offer an early bird special of $100 for the summer to anyone willing to commit now and pay by the end of that first week (5/22). I cant promise that I wont ask for the extra $25 in August, but I hope that I won’t have to…. Our only goal is break even and once we do we don’t need to collect any more fees. Breaking even requires $2100 for the summer. (Coach and pool rental from Boparc.)

Hi all,

This summers swimming will start at Krepps Pool and June 8th. Megan Carlson will be the coach along with Molly Nagowski. Megan is an ex WVU swimmer and was the coach a few summers ago; Molly will be filling in on Thursdays and as needed.

We potentially have an extra 1/2 hour this summer and would like to have stroke work time from 7:30 til 8am for those who want or need it. Regular work out time will be 6am to 7:30 Monday thru Friday.

The cost will be $125 for the 15 week summer; checks can be made out to MMAC and given to Megan or me. You are welcome to try it for a few days before you pay would like to.

Please feel free to forward this to anyone who may be interested.

thanks, Ann

Is it you? Are you the one that’s swapped lives with me?

Traffic court was a breeze. I got myself worked up over nothing. I got there at 10:35 (court time was 10:45) and I was out of there by 10:52! The judge was nice. I was first. I got my ticket deferred and have 30 days to pay $125. Whew!
