Polar Bear: I Come in Peace

I’ve been sick and I’m not feeling very inspired to write anything from my brain, so here is an email my mom sent me.

Polar Bear: I Come in Peace

If you don’t already think animals communicate, check this out. Stuart Brown describes Norbert Rosing’s striking images of a wild polar bear coming upon tethered sled dogs In the wilds of Canada’s Hudson Bay…

The photographer was sure that he was going to see the end of his dogs when the Polar bear wandered in, but…

The Polar Bear returned every night that week to play with the dogs.

May you always have love to share, health to spare, and friends that care.

  1. Awww that was heart warming! Until you realize how sad the bear probably was when it came back after they left and said “awww I was going to eat them tonight!” Just jokes! Feel better Meg! Are you coming to Christmas Eve? (21st)

  2. what in the world? didn’t pick that one!!!

  3. cute!! Im sick too. I think my dog blog post today also reflects my lack of creativity

  4. 1Aw! I want a pet polar bear now

  5. Cute… I’m sorry you’re sick… I’ve been sick too… When I went back to work after calling in to go to the doctors, the first thing my manager asked was “Are you pregnant?” I told her I didn’t think so, but I’d be happy if I was, and she got all crazy because apparently almost every girl she has hired has ended up on maternity leave… If there is something in the water I’m going to drink lots of it :). (I just wish it were that easy).

  6. How beautiful is that? Kind of like, “Hey, Fred, whatcha gonna do tonight?” “Geez, Sam, donno…I was thinking of heading over to that camp to play with the sled dogs a bit and then maybe hit the sack early.”

  7. That is the cutest thing EVER!

  8. I saw this in a forwarded email. SO CUTE!
